Arik Sinai - Sukkot Festival
Arik Sinai, one of the greatest and most moving voices in Israeli music and a pioneer of the genre, has been described as a romantic with a deep, rugged, yet tender voice Arik Sinai took the country by storm in the 1980s when he was the first to blend the songs of the beautiful Land of Israel with American folk-rock, and he hasn’t stopped since. In his new show, he performs the greatest hits he has accumulated over the years (some of which were written and composed by Israel’s greatest songwriters: Artzi, Kaspi, Gefen, Manor, Klepter, Duchin, Akstein, Amir Lev, and others...) These songs have reached every home in Israel and spanned generations; suffice it to mention: “Mistovav VeShar,” “Tzel Kavad,” “Siba Tova,” “Ha’ayara Sheli,” “Mekor,” “Shir Pridah,” “Derech Ha’kurkar,” and many other great ones. In this show, in his characteristic nonchalant style, Sini takes the audience on a timeless journey of innocence and brotherhood, optimism and romance that leaves you wanting more.
