Temporary closure of the Horashim Gate to facilitate the construction of an access road in the forest

Temporary Closure of the Horeshim Gate for Road Improvements in the Forest Following intensive efforts by the local council and the Central Command, the JNF has approved a budget of over half a million NIS to improve the access road from Oranit to the Horeshim Forest. The work is intended to improve access roads to the community for the well-being and safety of Oranit residents. To facilitate the work, starting tomorrow, the Horashim Gate (the yellow gate) will be closed for approximately 3 weeks. Estimated reopening date: May 28, 2026.
