Update - Sha'ar Horeshim

Dear Residents, Following a review and a change in the project’s work procedures, the JNF has informed the Council that work on the access road will resume only after the Council completes its work on the security road in the forest area—a project that will, for the first time since Oranit was established, complete the security road in this area. Accordingly, the Horashim Forest Gate will be open again until further notice, for an estimated period of one month. During the Shavuot holiday and the start of summer, this is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the nature around us, take the family out to the forest and the hiking trails, and reconnect with one of the things that makes Oranit so special. We will continue to update you on any developments. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation 🙏 Oranit Local Council Security Department
