What is Oranit Community?
Oranit Community is a local platform for the people of Oranit. Find local businesses and services, buy and sell on the marketplace, leave reviews, post community notes and events, and stay connected with neighbors.
How to sign up
Click Sign Up on the homepage. Enter your email address and choose a password of at least 10 characters. After submitting, you'll receive a verification email. Click the link in that email to activate your account.
If you don't see the email within a few minutes, check your spam folder.
Sign in
You'll usually be signed in automatically after verifying your email. If not, click Sign In on the homepage and enter the same email and password you used during signup.
Set up your profile
Once signed in, click your name in the top-right and choose Profile. You can:
- Set a display name — this is what other users see, so feel free to use a nickname for privacy
- Add a mobile phone number
- Upload an avatar
- Choose your preferred language (Hebrew or English)
What you can do as a registered user
- Add or claim a business listing in the Oranit directory
- Post buy/sell/giveaway listings in the marketplace
- Leave reviews on local businesses
- Post community notes
- Create and publish local events
