Is it really free?

For residents, almost everything is free. Three things cost money: paid business plans (Base or Extended), real-estate listings, and vehicle listings. The paid plans keep the platform running for everyone else.

For residents, yes, almost everything is free.

You can sign up, browse the business directory, search for services, post in the second-hand marketplace, find events, sign up to volunteer, and post community notices, all without paying anything. Ever.

There are three things that cost money:

  1. Paid business plans (Base or Extended). The Starter plan is free for every Oranit resident, professional, and business. Base and Extended add capabilities like more photos, a cover image, deals and promotions, priority placement, and detailed analytics. See the article on choosing the right plan for the full breakdown.
  2. Real estate listings, for posting a property for sale or rent.
  3. Vehicle listings, for posting a car, motorcycle, or other vehicle for sale.

That's it. There are no hidden fees, no "free trial that turns into a subscription," and no ads from outside Oranit cluttering the page.

The paid listings exist for one reason: to keep the platform alive and growing. Servers cost money, payment processing costs money, development takes time. The people who pay for visibility are helping keep the rest of the platform free for the rest of the community.

If you're not sure whether something costs money, the platform will always tell you clearly before you click pay.
