Payment and receipts

How payment works on oranit.community: each transaction is one-shot, no stored cards. Here's where to find your invoices and what to do if something goes wrong.

oranit.community uses a per-transaction payment model. We don't store credit cards on file. Every paid action, upgrading a business plan, posting a real-estate listing, posting a vehicle, ordering setup help, goes through a fresh checkout where you enter your card details for that one transaction.

Why per-transaction (no card on file)

Two reasons:

  1. Privacy and security. The fewer places your card is stored, the smaller the surface for things to go wrong. Our payment processor handles the transaction; we don't keep your card number after the payment clears.
  2. Simplicity. No "I forgot to update my card and got charged on an expired one" surprises. You see the price, you pay, you're done. Renewals work the same way: when a renewal is due, you get an email with a link to renew, and you pay then. No automatic charges.

What you pay for

  • Business plans (Base ₪99/month or ₪990/year, Extended ₪199/month or ₪1990/year). Charged when you upgrade or renew.
  • Real-estate listings (₪250/month for properties offered, ₪100/month for properties wanted, in 1, 3, or 6-month durations). Charged when you post or renew.
  • Vehicle listings (same pricing as real-estate). Charged when you post or renew.
  • Setup help (₪250 one-time, optional). Charged when you order it.

Everything else, the basic business listing, marketplace posts, community events, volunteer calls, help requests, account features, is free.

How to pay

When you click the button to upgrade, post, or renew, you're taken to a secure checkout page. We use a standard Israeli payment processor that accepts:

  • Visa
  • Mastercard
  • Israel Discount Bank cards (Isracard)
  • American Express

You enter your card details, confirm the amount, and complete the payment. The card details go straight from your browser to the payment processor; we never see them.

Your invoices

Every payment generates an automatic VAT invoice (חשבונית מס). You'll find your invoices in two places:

  • By email, sent automatically right after the payment clears.
  • In your dashboard, under Settings → Billing & Invoices. All your past invoices are listed there, downloadable as PDF.

If you need an invoice for a specific name or business that's different from your account name (for example, you're personally on the account but want the invoice issued to your business), you can set the invoice name on the checkout page each time, or once in your billing settings as a default.

Renewing

Renewals are not automatic. A few days before your business plan, real-estate post, or vehicle post is set to expire, we send you an email with a one-click renewal link. You confirm the duration and pay; the post or plan is extended.

If you don't renew, the listing or plan ends at expiry. We don't charge you for something you didn't actively confirm.

If something goes wrong

  • Payment failed: usually the card was declined. Try again, or use a different card. If your bank flagged the transaction, calling them and approving us once is usually enough.
  • Charged twice: rare, but it happens. Write to us with the dates and amounts; we refund the duplicate within 1-2 business days.
  • Wrong amount: if you were charged something different from what you expected, write to us with the invoice number. We'll investigate and resolve.
  • Refund needed: see the refund policy on the relevant article (the real-estate, vehicle, and business plan articles each cover their own refund terms). For special circumstances, write to us.
  • Card stolen or compromised after a payment: contact your bank to dispute and replace the card. We don't keep card numbers, so there's nothing to update on our end.

Currencies

All prices are in Israeli shekels (NIS). If you're paying with a foreign card, your bank handles the currency conversion at their rate; we don't add a foreign-card surcharge.
